BENEFIT Best Sellers Review Part 1

Hey gorgeous people! All of us are aware that Benefit is an amazing makeup brand but all of us also know how expensive the products can be. Well I don’t know about you but I don’t want to go killing my wallet buying something I end up not liking. So lucky for you guys, I’ll be doing a Benefit series this month! Overall I will be reviewing 12 products but I’m splitting them into 3 posts just because I think that 12 products in 1 post will be quite overwhelming. These are also just very BRIEF reviews just talking about my first impression of the products, so if you want an in depth review of any of the products then just message me or comment and I’ll gladly do it!

For this post, I will be giving a brief review/ first impression on the Watt’s Up and High Beam Highlighter, Total Moisture Facial Cream and POREfessional by Benefit Cosmetics.

Here are their swatches 🙂

The POREfessional Face Primer

IMG_0368 copy.jpg

Description: Quickly minimizes the appearance of pores & fine lines for smoother-than-smooth skin! You can apply this silky, lightweight balm alone, under or over makeup. Translucent, oil-free formula complements all skintones and helps makeup stay put.

Packaging: Blue lightweight plastic tube with a small nozzle and a black twist cap cover. The package is quite filled with product so only use a light hand when squeezing.

Verdict: I absolutely love love love this product! It feels extremely smooth and just completely mattified my skin. So if you are someone with fine lines, mini facial bumps, rough skin or enlarged pores then this product will do wonders for you as it quickly minimizes and blurs out the appearance of these. But if you don’t have any of those but still want the illusion of a smooth perfect face then you should definitely give this a try!

Price: $31 or P1600 (Full Size)

Total Moisture Facial Cream

IMG_0366.jpg

Description: Say good-bye to dry skin and hello to “total moisture.” This facial cream provides concentrated immediate & long-term hydration for a radiantly refreshed complexion. The exclusive tri-radiance complex helps develop the skin’s reserves of water & reinforce skin’s moisture barrier.

Packaging: Small clear glass jar with a plastic cork-like lid. Although the packaging is glass, it is quite thick and sturdy so it will definitely survive being chucked into a makeup bag.

Verdict: It is a very thick and heavy-duty moisturizer that spreads evenly and smoothly and is perfect for people with dry to very dry skin that is in desperate need of moisture as it quenches your skin’s thirst and keeps it hydrated and well moisturised for hours and hours. Sadly this is a little bit too thick and heavy for my skin type but if you’re someone with dry to very dry skin then this will work wonders on you!

Price: $42 or P2000 (Full Size)

High Beam Highlighter

IMG_0369.jpg

Description: A satiny pink liquid highlighter that accents cheek & brow bones for a dewy, radiant glow. Use as a spot highlighter over makeup or wear under complexion products for subtle luminescence. It’s the “supermodel in a bottle!”

Packaging: Clear glass nail polish like bottle with a white top. The nail polish like brush allows super easy application.

Verdict: To be honest, I’m not someone who’s a fan of highlighters but this gives you such a beautiful radiant glow that I am not opposed to at all. Unlike other highlighters, it’s not very “in your face” with loads of shimmer but it is very natural, which a lot of people prefer. So if you want a very natural looking highlighter that can pass as a “no makeup” look then you should definitely get it.

Price: $26 or P1400 (Full Size)

Watt’s up! Highlighter

IMG_0367.jpg

Description: A soft focus highlighter turns on “watt” ya got with a delicate champagne glow that’s gorgeous. With a cream-to-powder finish…it’s a switch on “wow” for all complexions.

Packaging: Metallic tube with sort of a purple and blue undertone. To get the product just take the metal cap off and twist the highlighter stick. Super easy application!

Verdict: OMG when I swatched this highlighter I fell in love! The color was such a gorgeous metallic peach-gold. It is a very blendable and creamy highlighter so application is very easy due to it being a stick. Similar to the High Beam it also gives a very natural glow, the only difference is that this has a more gold bronze undertone.

Price: $30 or P1600 (Full Size)
